28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Life can be hard sometimes. No one understands what you are going through. They try to convince you they do but deep down you know they don’t.
Sympathy is shared but it boils down to the burden will be carried on your shoulders. Facing the rough, bumpy, and sometimes even treacherous road ahead is daunting. It seems that no one is willing to help.
As expressions are made and details are explained no one really seems to be interested. The conversation is always changed to another subject. Interest is never showed.
Comments are made like just get over it, deal with it, everyone else has there own problems to deal with and the list could continue on. The point is a lot of times their problems are bigger and more important than yours.
They are not going to offer or provide help. Do not take it personal. That is just the way it is.
Are we really alone? Do we have to carry the weight of our problems and troubles by ourselves? It depends on how you want to handle them.
There is no need to worry about being alone. All you need to do is come unto Jesus. He will not only walk with you but he will help carry that heavy load.
He knows exactly what you are going through. Been there, done that, moved on! Now he can help you through it one step at a time.
If you get in a hurry and run to fast he’ll slow you down. When it’s time to move faster when you get bogged down marred knee deep he’ll offer a helping hand to get you unstuck.
The key is to keep coming unto Jesus again and again and again as many times as you need to. Without him it will be harder to deal with. Which you probably already know because you’ve been carrying around that burden for a while.
Don’t wait until everything else fails before you try Jesus. Start with him now. He’s waiting to here from you.
Come unto Jesus!
How has Jesus helped you?
