Verse For Thought:

HeartWhat is your heart filled with? Think about it. Is it good, bad, or both?

Most people are guilty of having both. But the determining factor is how much of each a person has. If they have a lot of good and some bad then it’s probably okay. It’s normal.

On the hand, if one has a lot of bad and a little bit of good then something is wrong. Because most of the time the bad will over power the good.

This is not what we want and is not  a place where anyone should be. We want more good so that it will over power the bad more often that none.

To make this happen we need to pour our heart out to God and then put more of God in. This cleanses our heart from all of the impurities and replaces them with good.

Clean your heart out by replacing the bad with good which is God.

Verse For Thought:

TrustDo you trust in God at all times? Do you rely on God’s integrity, strength, ability, and surety? Do you have confidence in God?

Why or why not?

I’m sure you trust in other people. It’s time to start trusting in God. He can do more that any man could ever do.

He can do the impossible while man is limited. Which one would you rather rely on?

God is the better choice. Choose God!

06-12-2012 – Psalm 41:11 Mine Enemy Doth Not Triumph Over Me

Read Bible Verse:

By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
Psalm 41:11

The Verse Challenger: Find out more here.

Verse For Thought:

EnemyIt’s sad to say that most if not all of us have enemies. People that do not like us. Since we are not perfect that means we will sin. The result will be us doing things that other people don’t like.

Sometimes it’s due to personality clashes, disagreements, difference of opinions, and beliefs. But we can not please everyone it does not matter how hard we try. We should not try to please everyone. It’s impossible.

Now turn your enemies over to God and let him deal with them.

Are you turning your enemies over to God?

06-11-2012 – Psalm 41:11 I Know Thou Favorest Me

Read Bible Verse:

By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
Psalm 41:11

Verse For Thought:

FavorDoes God favor you? Is God pleased with you?

Each day we live our life’s on our own terms doing as we please. Do we consider what we do if it pleases God?

Everything we do before we do it we should make sure that God would be pleased. If not then don’t do it.

Sometimes it does not matter how hard we try we will do things that God does not like. That is when we need to ask forgiveness and try really hard not to do it again.

The question still remains, “Is God pleased with you?”

06-10-2012 – Psalm 36:9 In Thy Light Shall We See Light

Read Bible Verse:

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Psalm 36:9

The Verse Challenger: Find out more here.

Verse For Thought:

In Thy Light Shall We See LightIn God’s light is where we will see light. It is not talking about daylight. But when God opens your eyes. Here are two reasons why God would open your eyes to see the light.

1. Open the lost person’s eyes to the light. Before a person accepts Jesus as their personal savior the are lost in darkness. Living for the devil because he is your father. Covered in sin on the outside and filled with sin on the inside.

2. Open a saved persons eyes to bible truths. After salvation bible knowledge does not miraculously come flooding into your mind. A new christian needs to go to a good Independent Fundamental Baptist Church to get grounded in the word of God. Then they need to read and study the King James Bible to learn more about God and how to grow closer to him.

Do you see the light?

Read Bible Verse:

How excellent is thy loving-kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Psalm 36:7

Verse For Thought:

Under The Shadow Of God's WingsThe verse said that “men put their trust under the shadow of God’s wings.”

Trust in God and he will provide for you and help you like no one else can. Give him a chance and let him prove it to you. You will be amazed.

God has these attributes and more that he wants to share with you. They are protection, love, encouragement, strength, and comfort. These only cover a few of the things he can do for you.

Get under the shadow of God’s wings and put your trust in him.

06-07-2012 – Psalm 36:7 How Excellent Is Thy Loving-Kindness, O God!

Read Bible Verse:

How excellent is thy loving-kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Psalm 36:7

The Verse Challenger: Find out more here.

Verse For Thought:

Loving-KindnessLoving-kindness is tender kindness motivated by or expressing affection. (dictionary.com)

We think about the above definition in earthly terms. What if we consider it on a much larger scale. Heavenly terms. God’s terms.

Our earthly minds could not fathom the greatness of God’s loving-kindness. We only see bits and pieces of what he did throughout the King James Bible and today in peoples lives.

Example 1: He allowed his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins to be the final and ultimate sacrifice so that whoever believes on him and accepts him as their savior can go to heaven.

Example 2: He works miracles in people’s live by healing them when the doctor says there is no hope.

Example 3: He provides for people when there is nothing to work with.

The example list could keep going. God sees what we don’t see. It’s like standing on the ground looking straight in front of you. Your sight distance is limited.

If you were to get in an air plane and fly high in the sky then you would see things from a broader perspective but still with sight limitations. You would not see things how God sees them.

Because he looks inside mans hearts not just on the outside. That is how he knows what we need and when to give it us. Sharing his loving-kindness to each of us.

06-06-2012 – Psalms 34:6 This Poor Man Cried

Read Bible Verse:

This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Psalms 34:6

Verse For Thought:

Sincere And Humble HeartSometimes when you ask God for things it’s not enough. Because he wants to see how bad you really want it. How many times are you willing to ask God for the thing you want most?

Not to just ask him when you happen to randomly think about it. But when you cannot get it out of your mind so you ask for it on purpose with a sincere and humble heart over and over again.

With that type of attitude your results will be much better and effective.

06-05-2012 – Psalms 34:4 I Sought The Lord And He Did What

Read Bible Verse:

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalms 34:4

The Verse Challenger: Find out more here.

Verse For Thought:

If you seek after the Lord for some things then what do you expect in return?

These are two things you can expect.

1. The Lord will here you. It’s great to know that God is listening. He wants to here what you have to say. Are you talking to God? If not, then why? Could that mean you’re going to the wrong place for answers. With talking to God comes a listening God.

2. The Lord will deliver you. Not only will the Lord here you but will also deliver you. God will listen to you. Now you need to listen to God. He has the answers you are looking for. With these answers comes deliverance.

Are you ready to be delivered?

Are you willing to seek the Lord?
