Slack Off Take Over

Slack Off Take OverI’ve become lazy and inefficient at home with my blog and other chores. It’s so easy to allow my mind and body to take over and control things. When they rely on how I feel then not much gets done.

3 Ways To Take Back The Slack Off Take Over

1. Realize your mind and body are trying to tell you something specific.

Find out what the problem is. Go back to the point before it took place and retrace your steps until you know what is hindering you. It could be something simple or major. But identify it.

2. Allow it to take it place for a short while.

Whether you what to or not it will interrupt your life to run its course. Until you figure out what is causing the problem and how to fix it. It may not interfere with your whole life but only during certain times. Your mind and body will need to go through these stages in order to properly get through it.

3. Don’t let it take over your life.

The main objective is to get through it without it taking over your life for a long period of time. So look actively for the problem and then find a reasonable solution.

Sometimes it will be easy but other times it will be hard. This means there is no one single answer to all your problems. But you will need to work through it and keep moving forward.

When you feel like and when you don’t progress still needs to be made. Take baby steps if you need to.

How do you get through the tough times and the discouraging times?

06-04-2012 – Psalms 34:4 I Sought The Lord

Read Bible Verse:

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalms 34:4

The Verse Challenger: Find out more here.

Verse For Thought:

If You Want It Bad EnoughHow often have you sought the Lord for something? I don’t mean just ask God for it then forget about it. But actually pursue after God until he here’s you and answers you.

Most of us ask a few times and when no answer is given then we move on to something else. With that type of attitude you will get few answers. Being busy is not an excuse to stop short.

God wants you to seek him when it’s easy and when it’s hard. He want’s to see you put forth an effort. If you want it bad enough and if you are serious about it then you will do whatever it takes.

That is what God wants to see.

Are you willing to put forth the effort, do the hard work, and do what ever it takes to get answers from God?

05-15-2012 – Proverbs 15:14 A Heart Of Understanding

Read Bible Verse:

The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
Proverbs 15:14

The Verse Challenger: Find out more here.

Verse For Thought:

A wise man once said, “The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge:” That wise man was Solomon in the King James Bible.

Why should you pay close attention to what he has to say. Because he is the wisest man that ever lived that was lead and guided by God.

He knew the key to getting knowledge was a persons heart had to be in it. You can want and desire all you want but if your heart is somewhere else then it will never come to pass.

You may start but it want be long before you’ll stop or move on to something else. It just want last long. Your heart has to be in it to not just your mind.

What some people don’t understand is that the key to be successful at anything you do in life is that your mind and heart have to be synced together. If they are not then failure is soon to follow.

They have to be synced with the realization that if you don’t stay determined and diligent coupled with deliberate practice to see it through to end. During the good times and hard times then you probably want succeed.

You need to be in the frame of mind that nothing will stop you from reaching the ultimate goal you’ve set. That means sometimes you may need to rearrange, adjust, or change things around to help you get where you want to be.

Always remember through the complete process that “the heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge.”

Your Thoughts:

Is you mind and heart synced together with what you want to accomplish in life?

04-24-2012 – Ecclesiastes 12:12 Study The Bible

Read Bible Verse:

And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Ecclesiastes 12:12

The Verse Challenger: Find out more here.

Verse For Thought:

It’s time to start studying the King James Bible!

The only way to learn is to read, research, and study. Knowledge is not going to magically appear in your brain. It will take time and effort on your part. Hard work!

There has to be a line drawn that you do not cross. To much study will cause your mind and body not to function properly causing that time and energy to be ineffective.

Two of the main key elements to effective study habits are to get the proper amount of rest and relaxation. So that the information can be understood and retained for future use.

Listen to what your body is trying to tell you but do not allow it to control you. It can and will open up plenty of opportunities to give excuses to not study but do other things instead. Push through these times forcing yourself forward to a greater improved you.

Study long and hard with the proper amount of rest and relaxation to get knowledge!

Your Thoughts:

What are some of your effective study habits?

Setting 5 Reachable Strategic Goals

Reach GoalsMy strategic goals are in the process of being set.

A schedule is being setup this very moment for the next six months then it will be updated in six month intervals for changes and improvements.

Beginning April 1, 2012 I plan on posting on a regular schedule. Up until now nothing much has been happening. Changes are in the making.

Setting 5 Reachable Strategic Goals

Goal 1: Create a schedule for the next six months to write post for this blog.

Setting up a schedule want be very hard. It’ll take time and some thinking. For the most part the ideas I have now to complete are feasible. They will be listed later in this article.

The biggest part is to see it through to the end. Persistence!

Goal 2: Create a action plan to see it through to the end.

Wow, this will be hard. Creating the action plan is not the hard part. Sticking with it will be the hardest. Persistence in action!

My reputation is you never finish what you start. That has got to change. The only way for that to happen is taking the necessary steps learning how to work through excuses, interruptions, discouragements, and disappointments.

Starting today my excuses will be turned into ways to get things done instead of get out of doing them. It will be hard work. That is a good thing.

The accomplishments will be reward enough.

Goal 3: Write a weekly article.

Read, research, study, and write are the main requirements. A lot of it.

Before knowledge is shared it has to be obtained. So that will be part of the process. One article at a time.

Goal 4: Write a weekly prayer request article.
